how network is working

Working Of Network:

Network is a system of computers, servers, and other devices connected together to share resources and exchange data. It is the foundation of modern communication and allows us to connect with people all over the world. Networking has become an integral part of our lives, from connecting to the internet to sharing files with friends and colleagues.

In this blog, we will discuss how networks work and how they are used in everyday life. We will also look at some of the different types of networks available today.

At its most basic level, a network consists of two or more computers connected together by a physical medium such as a cable or wireless connection. Each computer on the network is known as a node, and each node can communicate with other nodes on the network. The physical medium used to connect nodes together is known as a link.

Networks can be divided into two main categories: local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs). LANs are typically used for connecting computers in close proximity such as in an office building or home. WANs are used for connecting computers that are geographically separated such as across cities or countries.

The most common type of LAN is Ethernet which uses cables to connect nodes together. Ethernet is widely used in homes and offices because it provides high-speed data transfer rates and is relatively inexpensive compared to other networking technologies. Wireless LANs (WLANs) use radio waves instead of cables to connect nodes together and are becoming increasingly popular due to their convenience and portability.

Network protocols are sets of rules that govern how data is transferred between nodes on a network. The most common protocol used today is TCP/IP which stands for Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol. This protocol defines how data packets should be formatted, addressed, transmitted, routed, received, acknowledged, and secured over a network connection.

Networks can also be divided into different topologies depending on how the nodes are connected together: bus topology where all nodes share one common cable; star topology where each node connects directly to a central hub; ring topology where each node connects directly to two adjacent nodes; mesh topology where each node connects directly with every other node; tree topology where each node connects directly with one parent node; hybrid topology which combines elements from different types of topologies; etc..

Networks can also be classified according to their size: personal area networks (PANs) which connect devices within close proximity such as Bluetooth connections; local area networks (LANs) which connect devices within an office building or home; metropolitan area networks (MANs) which connect multiple LANs within a city; wide area networks (WANs) which connect multiple LANs across cities or countries; global area networks (GANs) which connect multiple WANs around the world; etc..

Network security is an important aspect of networking that involves protecting data from unauthorized access.
